UFC 112 is set to take place on Saturday April 10th, 2010. This fight is going to be an excellent event, and has many of the top fighters lined up to compete. UFC 112 is going to be taking place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at Concert Arena. UFC 112 is going to be the first event within the Ultimate Fighting Championship that is held in an open-air arena. The major talk for UFC 112 is for the main card, but there are several great fighters fighting within the preliminary card. Let’s take a look at some of the UFC 112 odds and predictions.

In the light heavyweight bout Swedish fighter Alexander Gustaffson will take on American Phil Davis. The Alexander Gustaffson vs. Phil Davis Odds have been released and Davis seems to have a heavy advantage in this fight. SportsBook.com has Gustaffson listed at + 300 and Davis at -500. BetUS.com is another great place to go for UFC odds. They have Davis at -500 and Gustaffson at +350.

Update : You can now get +425 on A Gustaffson Victory @ Bodog.Com

Our Alexander Gustaffson vs. Phil Davis prediction has been made. We are going to tail the expert odds makers with this pick. They seem to really favor Davis, and we do too. Davis is, simply put, a better fighter. His wrestling style will definitely be too much for the Swede. Our Alexander Gustaffson vs. Phil Davis prediction is definitely like Davis’ first UFC fight – Davis going away.

Another excellent fight that is taking place as part of the preliminary card at UFC 112 is DaMarques Johnson and Brad Blackburn. Both fighters are from the United States, and both looking to make a name in the UFC circuit. Johnson is 27 years old and from Utah, while Blackburn will turn 33 years old and was born and raised in Los Angeles. No official DaMarques Johnson vs. Brad Blackburn Odds have been released to this point, but look for them at either SportsBook.Com

Update : DaMarques Johnson vs. Brad Blackburn Odds Have Been Released @ SportsBook.Com

DeMarques – +130
Blackburn – -160

Without any official odds for the DaMarques Johnson vs. Brad Blackburn fight we are going to give our predictions for the fight. In this bout, we look for youth to prevail, and the six-year difference between the two gives Johnson the advantage. Our DaMarques Johnson vs. Brad Blackburn prediction – Johnson via submission.

A pair of hot fighters will get together at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi, United Emirates. In a lightweight bout Paul Kelly of England will take on Matt Veach of the United States. Although Paul Kelly vs. Matt Veach Odds are not available as of this time; this expects to be a sensational fight, of two potential stars in Ultimate Fighting Championship. Paul Kelly is just 25 years old, while Matt Veach comes in with just one career loss. This is a fight to make sure to find the odds for as soon as they available!

Kelly Vs Veach UFC Odds Latest;

Kelly – +205 @ Bodog.Com
Veach – -265 @ Bodog.Com

This is almost impossible, as we are very high on both fighters. The Paul Kelly vs. Matt Veach prediction is almost like flipping a coin. Kelly has certain impressed with his 9-2 professional record. He is coming off a knockout to Dennis Siver at UFC, so he is hungry for a victory. Veach is growing in popularity, and also put up a fight in his last fight despite losing. Our final Paul Kelly vs. Matt Veach prediction – Veach wins in a very exciting bout.

Jones is taking the place of Antonio Rogerio Noguiera, as they were slated to right in UFC 109. Vera is 32 years old from Virginia. His nickname is the Truth and he stands at 6’3, and weights 205lbs. His preferred style of fighting is the Muay Thai, along with Greco Roman Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsi. Vera has fought 15 professional fights, winning 11 of them. In those 11 wins, 7 of them have come via knockout. Vera was awarded a four-year athletic scholarship for wrestling to Old Dominion University, but left school after a year and 1/2. Jones is considerably younger, as he will turn 23 in July. His nickname all along has been Bones, as he is fighting in his 11th professional fight. His lone loss came to Matt Hamill in his last fight. The loss was due to a disqualification when the officials ruled his downward elbows were illegal. That fight came in the Ultimate Finale 10 on December 5th, 2009. Jon won a state wrestling title in high school, and then went to Iowa Central Community College, where he won a Junior College title there. Jon is noted for having the second longest reach in the history of UFC, only behind Tim Sylvia. The UFC Live lines and odds on this fight are out at some of our favorite books.
The rest of the Main Card

The rest of the main card UFC Live Odds are not released as of yet but should be available soon. Two Brazilian Fighters will also square off during the UFC Live event. Junior Dos Santos and Gabriel Gonzaga will bout for the best of Brazil. Junior Dos Santos is coming off his TKO of Gilbert Yvel in UFC 108. He has won five straight fights dating back to May of 2008. Dos Santos is 25 years old and nicknamed Cigano. He stands 6’3 and weights 236lbs, despite fighting in the 265lbs division. He is best known for his Jiu-Jitsu style of fighting. Gonzaga will look to gain some respect against the more popular Dos Santos. He is coming off a fight against American Chris Tuchscherer, in which he knocked him out in the first round. That fight was during the UFC 102 bout in Portland Oregon. Gonzaga is 11-4 in 15 career fights. He stands 6’2 and weighs 260lbs.

The preliminary Card

The preliminary Card at UFC Live features several excellent fighters and again the UFC Live lines on these fights are not yet released. In the seven fights, 11 of the 14 fighters will be Americans. The one fight that is not announced is the lightweight bout. This fight is most likely to feature Duane Ludwig of the United States, against Darren Elkins, also of the USA.

In the Middleweight bout, American James Irvin will take on Alessio Sakara. Sakara has not fought in a UFC bout since August, where he beat Brazilian Thales Leites. Irvin lost to Anderson Silva back in July in UFC Fight Night 14. In the lightweight bout that is announced Clay Guida will take on Shannon Guegery. Both fighters are Americans; and both coming off losses in their most recent UFC event. We expect the UFC Live odds for this fight to be very close.

In the light heavyweight bout Eliot Marshall of the United States will take on Vladimir Matyushen of Belarus. Matyushen turned 39 years old in January, and has an overall fighting record of 23 wins and 4 losses. Marshall, known as “The Fire” has won eight of his nine professional fights. He will turn 30 years old in July. In the Welterweight bout, John Howard will try his skill against Daniel Roberts. Howard, from Boston, MA, turns 27 years old in March. He has won his last six fights, and his most recent came in December, knocking out Dennis Hallman. Daniel Roberts, known as Ninja has an overall record of 9-0. His most recent win was over Anthony Macias in a non-UFC fight on January 16th in Tulsa, OK. This fight for Howard will be his UFC debut. The UFC Live lines for this great fight have yet to be released but check back soon for odds and predictions.

The Heavyweight bout will be between Brendan Schaub and Chase Gormley. Schaub, a former football player at the University of Colorado will put his 5-1 fighting record on the line. Schaub turns 27 years old this month. Gormley has been fighting since the age of 13. He became professional in 2007, and since then has won 6 of 7 rights. His lone loss came on October 24th, 2009 in UFC 104 in Los Angeles. That night, Gormley was downed by Stefan Struve via a triangle choke. The Welterweight bout will offer American Mike Pierce against Brazilian Julio Paulino. Pierce is 10-3 in professional fights. Lastly, Eric Schafer and Jason Brilz will go at it in a Light Heavyweight bout. Schafer is from Wisconsin, while Brilz currently calls Nebraska home.

It’s time for another hot UFC event. This time, UFC 109, will be headlined by Randy Couture “Captain America” and Mark “The Hammer” Coleman. This event will take place on February 6th, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you remember UFC 108, after starting slow, with several key injuries, it ended up being a very exciting event. In the Main Card, Junior Dos Santos defeated Gilbert Yvel through a TKO. In a battle of two American’s Jim Miller beat Duane Ludwig via submission; Jau Lauzon beat Canadian Sam Stout. In the Catchweight division Dustin Hazelett beat Paul Daley via TKO, and in the final event Rashad Evens beat Brazilian Thiago Silva.

Randy Couture and Mark Coleman, both in their mid 40′s will fight in what some feel could be one of their last professional fights. Couture, after his win in November 2009 will look to keep up with Coleman, who has a collegiate wrestling national championship under his belt. Couture comes in as the heavy favorite, but with both fighters aging, look for this one to be a long drawn out affair!

Nate Marquardt and Chael Sonnen will represent the 185 lbs fighters. Best known for his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Marquardt trains out of Denver Colorado. He has been fighting for ten years, and has compiled a 29-8 record. His opponent, Chael Sonnen has won his last two fights, including his win over Dan Miller in June of 2009. Sonnen is left-handed, which occasionally comes into play as a factor in professional fighting. Marquardt Vs Sonnen odds are listed here.

Mike Swick and Paulo Thiago will join the fun as they fight during UFC 109. Swick is replacing Josh Koscheck, who had to bow out due to an injury. Swick is known as “Quick” and has an impressive 14-3 record. Thiago, from Brazil has won 12 fights, twice by knockout. In November of 2009, Thiago beat Jacob Voklmann in an unanimous decision. This fight was also in Las Vegas. Both fighters come into this bout weight 170lbs. Swick comes in as the slight favorite in this bout.
Another match that is sure to catch the eye of fight fans around the world is Demian Maia against Dan Miller. Maia is the lone fighter in UFC 109 that is from a country other than the United States. Maia has been fighting since 2005, when he won in Finland. He has fought some experienced fighters in his four professional years. Miller, is 14-2 is best known for his freestyle wrestling. After winning nine fights in a row, Miller was beat by Chael Sonnen in UFC 98. This fight features two fighters within the 185lbs weight limit.

Matt Serra and Frank Trigg will fight in a battle featuring two fighters at the 170lbs range. Serra, known as “The Terror” is 35 years old, and “Twinkle Toes”, Frank Trigg is 37 years old. Serra is one of the shortest fighters, at just 5’5. He has a record of 9 wins and 6 losses, while Trigg is 19-7 in professional fights.

UFC 108 will take place on January 2nd, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The night has been hampered by an assortment of injuries that have called off certain fights. The initial fight card pitted Anderson Silva against Vitor Belfort. After the announcement, Silva announced he was not going to fight due to lasting elbow problems. Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin were slated to fight in the Heavyweight Championship, but Lesnar’s health canceled the bout. Also, Antonio Rodrige Nogueia and Cain Velasquez was postponed due to Noguiera’s staph infection. In November Gabriel Gonzaga and Junior Dos Santos called their fight off, along with Paul Daley and Carlos Condit was canceled. Within the last month Tyson Griffin pulled out of a fight with Jim Miller and Rory Markham canceled a bout with Martin Kampmann. Jacob Volkmann took the spot for Markham.

The fights that will occur include: Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva; Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout; Junior Dos Santos vs. Gilbert Yvel; Martin Kampmann vs. Jacob Volkmann and Cole Miller vs. Dan Lauzon.

In Evans vs. Silva, two of the toughest fighters around will connect. Evans and Silva both have gaudy records, and both like to put their opponent away as quick as possible. It will be tough for either of these fighters to end this one quick. When Joe Lauzon and Sam Stout get together, two 25 year old’s get together. Lauzon has quickly emerged as one of the toughest dude’s in UFC fighting. Stout, relatively unknown, will look to make a name for himself. The third featured fight will pit Junior Dos Santos, “Cigano” up against the veteran, Gilbert Yvel, “The Hurricane”. Yvel, is a big underdog, and with his defensive style of fighting that could be a surprise in the making. Dos Santos is typically able to throw some pretty heavy blows, and with Yvel’s age creeping up, he will hope to put him away early. When Martin Kampmann and Jacob Volkmann get together, both fighters will be coming in after very tough losses in their previous fight. This appears to be the closest bout on the day. Cole Miller “Magrinho” will take on the youngster, Dan Lauzon in the next fight. Lauzon is just 21 years old and has been nicknamed “the upgrade”. Many people have been waiting for this bout, while a lot are still undecided on the favorite. Oddsmakers have given the early edge to Miller, due to his experience and quickness.

Just when you thought UFC 106 could not be topped; here comes UFC 107. The FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee will be the host of the some of the best fights of the calendar year. All the odds for UFC 107 are posted and ready for you to take advantage of. The main fight will feature B.J. Penn, who has dominated the lightweight division for almost 8 years. “The Prodigy” will put it all on the line on December 12, 2009 when he takes on Diego Sanchez, the Ultimate Fighter Season one winner. Find The Diego Snachez Vs BJ Penn Odds Here.

Another key fight to take place during the UFC 107 includes Frank Mir, who has won two UFC heavy weight titles, taking on Cheick Kongo. Mir comes in as the two-time defending UFC Heavyweight Champion. Mir is looking to rebound from the decisive loss to Brock Lesnar. Kongo also has some pent up frustration, after getting smoked by Cain Velasquez in his last bout. Kongo has the height advantage in this one; just an inch, while Mir weighs about 15 pounds more than Mir. We have a Mir Vs Kongo breakdown here.

Jon Fitch and Mike Pierce will go toe-to-toe in UFC 107. The Indiana born Fitch has lost just three bouts in his career (22 appearances) while Pierce is 10-1 in Mixed Martial Arts Fights. Pierce lost his only UFC bout, UFC Fight Night #18. Many have talked very highly of Pierce despite losing his first match. It takes some guts to elect such a big time fighter for his second appearance within UFC. Both Fitch and Pierce were collegiate wrestlers, and strength will not be a problem in this fight. Pierce is taking over for Ricardo Almeida who sustained a knee injury, before he was slated to fight in UFC 106.

Kenny Florian and Clay Guida will square off during UFC 107 as well. Guida known as “The Carpenter” had won three straight fights before being defeated by Diego Sanchez. Florian is a rare commodity: a left handed fighter. Both Guida and Florian have become fan favorites through the UFC. Florian appears to be the early favorite for this fight, but Guida a very tough fighter will surely not be intimidated by him. The Florian Vs Guida fight odds can be found at BetUS or you can read a detailed fight breakdown here.

Paul “The HeadHunter” Buentello will battle against Stefan “The Skyscraper” Struve. Struve is 6’11, and looking to rebound from his lone UFC fight; a loss. Buentello comes in with high momentum after beating up on Kiril Sidelnixov in his last bout. Struve was TKO’d by Junior Dos Santos in his lone UFC battle.

The other fights taking place at UFC 107 include: Alan Belcher (The Talent) (13-5-0) against Wilson Gouveia (12-6-0), Matt Wiman (Handsome) will take on Shane Nelson (Sugar). Wiman is 10-5-0, while Nelson is 13-4-0. Johny Hendricks (6-0-0) will battle Ricardo Funch in his first ever UFC fight. Rousimar Palhares (Toquinho) is 18-2-0 overall, and will bout with Lucio Linhares (0-0). Demarques Johnson (14-7-0) will face Edgar Garcia (7-1-0) and Kevin Burns (8-3-0) will face T.J. Grant (14-3)

It’s time to start thinking about UFC 106 Fight Odds! On Saturday, November 21, 2009 UFC 106 will take place at none other than Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. This fight initially was supposed to feature Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin but that bout has been pushed back. Lesnar has been fighting illness for some time now and won’t make UFC 106. So the new headliner fight is Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin. The co-main event is featuring none other than hard hitter Anthony Johnson vs. Josh Koscheck. Other key matches on the card are Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Luiz Cane, Amir Sadollah vs. Phil Baroni and Karo Parisyan fighting Dustin Hazelett. The UFC 106 event odds have been released and are waiting for action. Read our feature fight breakdowns to see who we think are the best bets and have the best odds at UFC 106.

Tito Ortiz, dubbed “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” comes into this fight at 16-6-1. His opponent, Forest Griffin is 16-6 and is no slouch of an opponent. These two fought back at UFC 59 with Tito Ortiz winning in a split decision fight. Griffin is a former UFC light heavyweight champion and comes in as the favorite in this fight. Nearly all of the UFC 106 fight odds have Griffin at -165 and Ortiz at +135. Pretty decent value odds on Ortiz in my opinion. For a more in depth look at this matchup check out the Ortiz vs. Griffin fight breakdown.

The second featured fight of UFC 106 could very well be the best fight of the night. Josh Koscheck (14-4) will take on Anthony Johnson (8-2). Both of these fighters are in the welterweight class and have proven to be explosive knockout fighters. These UFC 106 fight odds are not yet released but should be closer to the fight. We expect these fight odds to be some of the closest of all UFC 106 bouts. Check back here at BestBetUFC.com closer to UFC 106 for the updated odds. For more information about this fight, read our Koscheck vs. Johnson breakdown.

Amir Sadollah will fight Phil Baroni in a welterweight bout. Sadollah recently won the 7th season of Ultimate Fighter and put on quite a display with his armbar submission win over CB Dollaway. Baroni is a very challenging mixed martial arts fighter who has won 3 of 4 UFC fights. Despite the experience, Sadollah is the overwhelming favorite to win this fight. BetUS show Sadollah’s fight odds at -175. We have some more thoughts on this match covered in the Baroni vs. Sadollah Odds breakdown article.

The other fights occurring at UFC 106 are: Luiz Cane vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Karo Parisyan vs. Dustin Hazelett, Marcus Davis vs. Ben Saunders, Kendall Grove vs. Jake Rosholt, Paulo Thiago vs. Jacob Volkmann, Brock Larson vs. Brian Foster, Caol Uno vs. Fabricio Camoes and George Sotiropoulos vs. Jason Dent.

UFC 106 is clearly one of the most anticipated events of the winter. Don’t forget to check out all the UFC 106 fight odds and make your fight bets at BetUS.
