Our UFC 117 predictions continue with the lightweight bout that features Clay Guida against Rafael Dos Anjos. Guida is 28 years old and has a 26-11 record, while Dos Anjos is 14-4. Guida has a little more of the glitter and glitz than Dos Anjos does. The odds makers have placed Guida is a slight favorite, but we are going to go the other way. Look for Dos Anjos to out power and out will Guida in this fight.

UFC 117 Predictions could not continue without our prediction of Matt Hughes Vs Ricardo Almeida. Matt Hughes is in the UFC Hall of Fame. That’s pretty incredible for the 36 years old from Illinois. Almeida, while maybe a little under the spot light, still is a force to reckon with. He holds a 12-3 record in his career. Our Matt Hughes vs. Ricardo Almeida prediction is against the grain when looking at some of the odds makers’ selections. We like the hall of famer to win this fight.

Roy Nelson and Junior Dos Santos appears to be an excellent fight. Dos Santos has him in age, as he is 9 years younger. Dos Santos also has the height advantage, as he stands 6’4 and Nelson is 6’0. Junior Dos Santos has yet to lose when it comes to UFC events. Our prediction is we do not expect that to change this time.
