Mike Brown comes into this fight as the # 2 featherweight fighter according to Sherdog. Brown currently fights for American Top Team, based out of Coconut Creek, Florida. As a wrestler in high school, Brown won a state championship in 1992, and then went on to fight at Norwich University. His professional record to this point is 23-5, winning 10 of his last 11. His last loss was to Jose Aldo, which lost his WFC Featherweight Championship.
Manvel Gamburyan, from Armenia will take his Judo fighting style into this match, against Mike Brown. Gamburyan is listed at 5’5 and weighs 145lbs, his been nicknamed “Pitbull” and “Anvil”. He currently fights out of North Hollywood, California. His first ever fight came in 1999, where he beat American Danny Henderson via submission. He won his first four professional fights, before dropping a decision to Sean Sherk on March 30th, 2001.
